Flying Lessons

This is what childhood should be.

Carefree

Full of joy

Full of freedom

Flying high into the sky

Laughter that makes your heart soar

Smiles that stretch your face almost painfully

The security of knowing you're loved

And yes, even scary tumbles from the swing

Because it's good to know that someone is there to catch you when you fall

It's good to know that it doesn't have to stop you

You can relish the comfort of a snuggle, and then brush off the dirt - and start again...a little bit smarter and a little bit stronger

You can learn that despite the bumps along the way, life is full of hope and promise and beauty.

Especially on a gorgeous fall afternoon at the park

With kitty cat rainboots on the wrong feet

I love your words Christina, especially after a particularly difficult bedtime session tonight for Harrison and I.

Beautiful day there! Gorgeous colors. I had a maternity photo session with friends today that ended with pictures of their two-year-old swinging. How funny.

You always have such poignant words to go along with your photo stories. So lovely.

It's vital that the shoes are on the wrong feet :) Lovely.

That is so funny. I didnt even notice the backwards boots until you said something and now it is SO obvious. :0) My favorite shot is the 4th one where she is looking off to the side. So dreamy. And I think you hit it on the head when you said...the security of knowing you are loved....That is so important in a childs life.

Great shots, I totally didn't realize her boot were on the wrong feet. Francesco loves the swing but will only go high on the "baby" swing. On the big swing he likes to "take it easy"...his words.
