I have to be honest and admit that for all the years I've been saying that I don't like football, the real truth was more like "I don't know anything about football and don't care to learn."
But in the last couple months I've been to several of my little brother Daniel's 8th Grade football games, and guess what??
I *gasp* have had a blast at them.
Who knew there was a football fan in me, just waiting to come out? I can almost follow the game now and make sense of what's happening. Impressive, huh?!
Of course, it doesn't hurt that I get to sit next to the cutest and most enthusiastic little fan around.
Oh my, Nadia is quite the little cheerleader. Yowza, the moves on that girl! Words can't express how adorable it is to watch her imitate the cheerleaders' every move and shout "lounder, louder, louder! hold that line!"...I'm gonna have to get it in video.
What I just don't understand tho, is how, even with Nadia rooting for them, Daniel's team has yet to win a single game this season.
Yep, that's right. they are UN-undefeated. *sigh*
hey, it's about more then the score, right?!

#65 - that's Daniel!

The absolute hightlight of the game for Nadia is seeing the mascot. Someone dressed up in a giant tiger costume is super exciting to me kid....but if that tiger waves at or otherwise acknowledges her, the ecstasy goes thru the roof! The moment captured in this picture was followed by a whole evening of "I really did get to 'high five' that tiger! Really, with my own hand! Really, it's true!"

She is so cute!! Love all of her expressions and enthusiasm. How adorable that she loves the football games so much!
I can't stand to watch football on tv, but the one time I went to a real live game, I really enjoyed it. Weird no?
You know, I think you'd have to be blind to look at Nadia's joy in these photos and not smile. :)
I am like that too...I do not like football at all....but when we went to the games our son Stephan played at (he was in the band) I really enjoyed them...
So glad you're enjoying yourself some football action! Personally, I think it's much better live than on TV...and in fact, I prefer the Friday night under-the-lights action of high school games to anything else!
You're absolutely right that her enthusiasm is contagious! I found myself smiling along with her pictures here! :)
Looks like that game was a "winner" no matter what. Go Team! : )
honey, you're from Texas...you gotta ♥ football ;P
Wow Christina. Call the local newspaper and get a job girl. Those are awesome!
LOVE that first shot - it is so "moody" and lovely.
We love football around here, of course we kinda "have to" b/c of J's job - but in person football is by far better any day than on TV! Plus - you get great shots!!
oh the fun. I too love that first shot. :) what a cool blow up thingy. :) Sugar would want to go jump in it.
Oh she is too cute...both her words and well, just her. :) Sounds like it is a fun, fun time going to the games and watching your little bro AND Nadia. Hopefully they win a game...I bet they would kinda like that.
Looks like she enjoyed herself!!!
