Nadia loooooves tomatoes. Her PawPaw has an extensive vegetable garden, and she's earned big point with him by being such a fan of it. Well, of the tomatoes anyway. She could pretty much take or leave the peppers and kale and even the cucumbers...but the tomatoes? She's all about those!
I remember popping cherry tomatoes - sweet and juicy and warm from the sun - like candy as a little girl, and it's clear those tomato-loving genes were passed along to my daughter. PawPaw happened to be out of town a couple weeks ago for the first big tomato harvest, but Nadia made sure no tomatoes went to waste. That first evening, she must have eaten at least a dozen fresh sun-ripened tomatoes straight from the vine.
That's my girl!

Mmmm.....you can tell that girl loves tomatoes. I bet she will also have some fond memories of picking and eating fresh, ripe tomatoes straight from the vine.
Oh, that is a fun series! She will have fond memories of that special bond with her PawPaw's garden!
I have pics of both of the girls eating tomatoes right out of the garden in their swimsuits...and this year? "Blech! We don't like tomatoes." I'm only growing them for our guacamole, I guess. :-)
a great helper in the garden reaps her rewards...what juicy shots! (I'm a dork..I know)
Sweet photos. My son who's 2 is also a huge tomato fan. He eats them every single day, often with lunch and dinner. Lovely that she can pick and eat them straight from the vine!
oh yum...now I am craving some tomatoes!
I can remember eating tomatoes from the garden on my grandparents farm. I loved them and it was an added bonus that it wigged out my brother who hates tomatoes!
Can Nadia teach my kids that they are good and yummy to eat?? I love that she is such a lover of veggies. I'm sure not all...but at least SOME is a marked improvement on my kids, I tell ya! Great shots of her helping...and eating. :)
fresh from the vine tomatoes. you can't get much better than that. your photography is beautiful.
DArling shot of your girl. I love photos of the little ones enjoying the garden.
Sugar does NOT eat tomatos....but either do I, so it could be my fault. shhhhh...don't tell anyone.
yummm!! How awesome to have fresh tomatoes like that without having to do the work! ;)
Caden LOVES tomatoes too - the grape tomatoes at least - he gets them out of the fridge and walks around eating them all the time!
So cute of N in her bathing suit too!
