The steady gaze...the blank, hypnotized face...yep, we've all seen it!

Television - the best friend and worst enemy of every mother of preschoolers.

Those eyes sure are glued to the tv screen - the connection couldn't be any stronger even if I'd pulled out the Super Glue.

This last photo has no connection whatsoever to the rest of them, other than the fact that it was taken the same day. It just makes me smile to see Nadia and her Uncle D sitting side by side at the computer, snacking on fresh-from-the-garden green beans. That girl loves her some Uncle D (and shhh!, but he loves her back pretty fierce too!).

Oh yes, I recognize that stare. BUT it does make for a non-mobile and distracted photography subject LOL! Great shots of her and love your conversion.
And how do you get her to eat veggies from the garden?? *sigh* my kids are so darn picky!
Yeah, I know that stare, only when I pull out my camera to snap a candid picture of it - Harrison breaks his stare to give me a "glare". LOL.
And he loves to sit with Big Brother at the computer and watch what he is doing.
I recognise that stare to ,i actually love that stare especially if 2 little girls have it. Normally means 5 minutes piece for mum
I recognized that stare right from the start. I'm actually looking at one of my versions of it in the other room. I shall leave him be or be heavily scolded. :-)
What a sweet pic of her an Uncle D! Love those "tv" eyes! : )
Don't tell anyone, but I live for that stare. It means M is going to be quiet and leave me alone for a minute. But I'd NEVER admit that, so don't tell anyone.
I wish my light was good in my living room. I can't capture images like that in my dark LR. When we move, one day, before I die, maybe, my number one and two criteria are good light in the house and a good plot of light in the yard for a real garden.
How sweet!! So sweet!!!! :)
And I admit, like the rest of these mamas... I lovvveee the stare! :)
I have NEVER seen that stare, EVER in my house! HA!
I'm with Natalie, I don't get the opportunity to capture things inside like I used to in our old house - we had such great light there - amazing almost the entire day!
But, that's ok...I still like this house better...so I guess I'll just have to get them outside more - oh wait, it is BLAZIN' HOT outside!
Oh, and are you doing the eyes in PS or LR? I just started playing with the adjustment brush in LR -- it is pretty nifty!
Olivia has that same rainbow dress (my sis gave it to her for her birthday)...love that last photo especially!
Wow, uncle could have passed as her big brother. I love that photo.
