Dancing in the Rain

Surprise! Despite recent indications, I haven't fallen off the edge of the world - I really am still here after all.

My apologies for going missing this past week and leaving you all to wonder what's up....

...but I'm still not going to tell you.

There's a lot going on in my personal life - stuff that's overwhelming right now, but I truly believe will be for the best in the long run. Prayers are welcome!

Thanks for the concerned e-mails I've gotten from several of you. That support really does mean a lot to me.

So I'm back again - but posting may be sporadic and heavy on the pictures. I don't have a lot of words to share right now.

Here's your daily dose of eye candy. These pictures are nearly a month old, but thankfully there's no expiration date on cuteness like this.

These pictures actually feel rather appropriate to my life right now - maybe they can inspire me to get out there and dance despite the storms that are raging!

I doubt I'd look as cute with a heart bathing suit and rainbow umbrella, tho. ;o)

Cheesy quote for ya but sometimes so appropriate, "Can't have a rainbow with the rain." Thinking of you often.

Love that umbrella and all the colors. Could REALLY use some of that rain right now. I think the next time we get I'll put my suit on and go in too!

Thinking of you, Christina. Hope the rain clouds clear for you soon.

You are right about the cuteness factor here. Too adorable!

Oh my...these are just way too adorable!! And I love the attitude...when it rains, you can still go for a walk, just put on your bathing suit first. Love it!!

You're pictures always cheer me up and I'm sure they do the same for you. Hang in there - it does get easier...

Prayers are coming your way now. I'm sorry that life is a tad overwhelming. Grab your umbrella and know that the storm WILL pass. It might hurt like all get-out while it's pouring, but the sun (er...Son) will return.

Love,
Natalie

So nice to see a post from you again, Christina! I've missed you. Be strong...This too shall pass.
I have been so busy with work in the last couple of months that I have been heavy on the photos and not so much on the words too. Sometimes it feels overwhelming to have to think of something to post about. Pictures are always good. But holy mongo umbrella! A swift wind and it could have taken Nadia away! :0) It provided wonderful bright colors for such a dreary day. Thinking of you...

Wow, oh wow... this sequence is absolutely amazing!!!!

So symbolic and I just love the sentiment of 'dancing in the rain.' (I composed a song with the title about 8 years ago and the tune was running through my head as I read your post.)

Last shot = my favorite!

The pictures are gorgeous, of course. I was just remembering our conversation the other day about photography...you need to be more confident in yourself! You rock!

Hope everything is going fairly smooth - remember I'm always close by if you need something!

These are awesome! How do you keep your camera dry?
You know my thoughts and prayers are with you and as soon as we get home we're going to take the kids out to lunch.

Okay, I can just imagine her being lifted up into the clouds with that umbrella! Awesome shots.

I've kind of fallen off the earth too when it comes to blogging - all things internet related. Life, work stress, you name it - I feel ya. but you do better than me, I can't even get the pictures posted!

Hope everything goes okay. I'll keep you in prayer and please keep us in prayer - we'll be moving by the end of summer.
