Lions are so regal...so majestic.
And yet this half-grown cub, lying there cleaning his paws, looks like nothing more than an overgrown house cat lazing in the sun.

such a beautiful animal.
You are so right. Gorgeous shots of a gorgeous animal.
Meow! Great shots. But forgive me if I won't be putting any cat chow out for that BIG kitty! ; )
Lion's are one of my favorites, like you said they are Regal.
I think that why I like cats, except the cat I got is about the size of just one of that lions paws.
Regal is the perfect word - great shots!
i love watching the "big cats" and it reminds me that our cat is indeed a descendant of those majestic animals!
beautiful shots, as always!

Perhaps I should introduce him to the two little ratbags currently camping in my laundry! Perhaps he'd 'see them off'!!!!
Super shots.
Great shots! Yes, he does look a bit like an overgrown house cat...just with MUCH bigger teeth. ;)
Great shot!! I took one last summer of a tiger at the Dallas Zoo and hubby loved it so much he made it his background at work. =)
Arent they beautiful creatures? I love the first and last shots and how it doesnt look like you saw him at a zoo. I just want to roll around with him and cuddle! :0)
Those should totally be zoo promo photos.
(Thinking of you a lot today.)
