For example, grocery shopping is very exciting because at the end, provided she's been a good girl, she gets to ride the firetruck. And this is FUN! I know the day is coming that she clamors for quarters to actually ride it, but for now just sitting up there is enough to make her grin from ear to ear.

We did have some frustrations, tho. She really wanted Snoopy to sit down on the seat next to her, and she was convinced that if she pulled hard enough, she could move him...but of course the dang dog just wouldn't budge.

Then she decided to just climb up and perch next to him, and all was right with the world again. Well, except for the twinge of fear in Mama's heart, despite her assurances that "I not fall, Mama, I be fareful." She was right; she was careful and did not fall.

Snoopy got some Nadia-love too. Her affectionate, loving nature is one of my most favorite things about her.

I may love her affectionate nature, but she loves using Mommy's keys. Now that's the epitome of fun in her little world.

Wonderful pictures! I love her and snoopy together. Reminds me of my own 2 year old and his love for the elmo car in the entrance of Walmart. Although I have not gotten any pictures of that.

Those are SERIOUSLY sweet pictures! OMG, I just want to hug her, she is so adorable! Her joy is palpable!
Ah, life before the discovery that if you put money in things move is the best! The picture of her kissing snoopy and the one with the keys are great - toddler-dome summed up perfectly!
Good thing this fun little girl has such a fun Mommy ! I love how you facilitate so many fun things for her!
Just as a side note ... my kids are 6 and 4 and they still "ride" the rides without money !! :) They do ask for it sometimes but they still ride it when I say no !!
What a great series! She had so much fun! Harrison knows that they move. A friend of mine taught him that.
I love the the last two!
Not only does she look like she's having fun, but she looks like she'd be fun to hang out with too. :)
Hi Christina
I have just popped over from Elaine's blog as she mentioned you today in her post.
I also have a toodler, who is nearly 20 months. You're so right, how can you not have fun with a toddler. There is so much in their world that is magical and fun. One of the beautiful things about this is that it has allowed me to see the world through the eyes of my daughter, and by doing so I am more aware of beauty that surrounds me.
Your pictures of your precious Nadia are gorgeous.
I look forward to visiting again soon.
Elise.
I love the one with her arm around Snoopy! Who knew that he was such a charmer! :)
AH the fun you manage to capture! These are lovely.....
Those DO look like a lot of fun! I just love your shots from the back -- the one with her arm around Snoopy is so cute!
