Exactly one month from today, my baby turns two years old.
Everyone talks about how the first year of Baby's life brings such incredible growth and change. And that's very true. But as we draw closer to the 2-year mark, I can't help but marvel at how much growth and change this second year has brought, as well.
One year ago, Nadia was still completely a baby. She was just beginning to walk, just beginning to talk, just beginning to really communicate and understand and play. Heck, she was still practically bald!

And now? Now I have a little girl, a little monkey, a little mile-a-minute talker, a little friend with a wreath of curls and a smile that brightens the darkest day.
My precious Gobby-Girl...I fell in love with you the very first time I laid eyes on you, 23 months ago. And as you have grown, so has my love for you. As I sit here reflecting on our almost-2 years together, I also wonder what the next year will bring. I imagine one year from today I will once again be looking back over another year gone...and I will marvel at the amazing growth and change the third year of your life has brought. And next year, you might even be big enough to take that walk down memory lane with me!

Oh, what a cute little baby Nadia! Yes, they do change so much...I think the first two there are more changes than from two to three. Can't say how much there is after that... ;)

oh yes. i know what you are talking about! the day bean turned two i suddenly realized that in one year she would be three- that just didn't seem possible! i mean THREE- OMG! ha ha ha!

It is mind-boggling to think how quickly the first two years go, huh? That is so sweet - and that last pic is BEAUTIFUL!

It is one of the most amazing and heartwrenching parts of parenting to see these changes. You make me want to go cuddle with my "baby" boys! :)

Aww, I love bald little Nadia! Looking at that first pic makes me feel like crying. Our babies grow up so fast. >sniff< (Don't mind me, I'm uber hormonal today.)
How she has grown, i have been so sentimental lately. Rebecca has changed so much and i had not even got to meet my little EJ yet. Time just wirls by
